Effect Brush

You use the Effect Brush tool to "paint on" image edits, just as with the Iron tool. The Diameter, Opacity, Density, Blur, and Spacing settings are similar as for the tools mentioned above.

The effect brush serves for doing local edits more conveniently than through the usual technique of selecting a region and applying edits to it. It also offers a chance to take advantage of a pressure-sensitive tablet to control diameter, opacity, etc.

Pressure-sensitive Tablet Support
