Histogram Curve Editing

The Curves tool serves, similarly to the Levels tool, for advanced and highly precise manual editing of an image's exposure parameters and color tones.

It is a highly useful tool both for editing photos taken in extreme conditions and for fine-tuning shots that were already high-quality to begin with. Work with curves is significantly more demanding than with levels, but it lets you configure the individual color channels in an image much more precisely. The Curves tool includes an interactive histogram preview, whose changes can and should be monitored during each edit.
